Jennifer Brozek is a freelance author for many RPG companies including Margaret Weis Productions, Savage Mojo, Rogue Games, and Catalyst Game Labs. Winner of the 2010 Origins Award for Best Roleplaying Game Supplement, her contributions to RPG sourcebooks include Dragonlance, Colonial Gothic, Shadowrun, Serenity, Savage Worlds, and White Wolf SAS. Winner of the 2009 Australian Shadows Award for edited publication, Jennifer has edited 3 anthologies with more on the way. Author of In a Gilded Light and The Little Finance Book That Could, she has more than 25 published short stories, is the creator and editor of the semiprozine, The Edge of Propinquity, and is an editor for the Apex Book Company. She also writes the monthly gaming column Dice & Deadlines. When she is not writing her heart out, she is gallivanting around the Pacific Northwest in its wonderfully mercurial weather. Jennifer is a member of Broad Universe, SFWA and HWA. 
Ivan Ewert lives in northwestern Illinois, a locus for both bad weather and strange little neighborhoods, both of which appear frequently in his stories. He has been writing for the Edge of Propinquity from the beginning, attracting attention with his Vorare and Solstice universes. His recent fiction has been published in the anthologies Grants Pass, Close Encounters of the Urban Kind, and Human Tales, while his poetry appears in the magazine Alimentum: The Literature of Food. When not writing, he works in graphic design, jewelry design, website design and, strangely enough, theatre. He can be reached at 
Kaolin Fire is a conglomeration of ideas, side projects, and experiments. He loves to program in c, c++, and php; talk in the third person; write fiction; and teach. Vim is his poison of choice for editors and software development. He's had fiction published by venues such as Strange Horizons and Crossed Genres; poetry by venues such as Strange Horizons and Bull Spec; #twitfic by venues such as @tweetthemeat and @outshine; artwork by venues such as Zumaya Publications and Renaissance E Books; and has games available on Kongregate and Newgrounds. He does know when to quit, but doesn't seem to be able to follow through on it. He lives variously in Berkeley and the outskirts of Los Angeles with a wonderful wife; likes hats and long walks, though not generally on the beach. At times, sentence fragments, long lists, and tangents. And it irks him to no end that no bio will be complete until he dies; and even then, the world's context will continue to change.
Alina Pete is a member of Little Pine First Nations, but she spent her childhood summers visiting Cowessess First Nation, her grandmother's reservation in southern Saskatchewan. Here, she learned a lot about creeks, mud, and the sorts of things that happen when you step on a crayfish with your bare feet. She also learned a lot of the old stories about the area while sitting around her great-grandmother’s kitchen table. Now, she lives in the distant city of Edmonton and still thinks fondly of the reserve. She is the writer and artist for two webcomics: 
Peter M Ball lives in Brisbane, Australia, where he spends more time writing than anything else. He's previously worked as a session tutor/lecturer, a program coordinator for the Gen Con Australia convention, and thesis-writing post-graduate student. His short fiction has been published in magazines such as Apex, Shimmer, Strange Horizons, as well as the Dreaming Again and Interfictions II anthologies. Rumours he was once the feather-boa-wearing member of an itinerant performance poetry troupe are, alas, not terribly exaggerated. In recent years he published the faerie noir novellas Horn and Bleed with Twelfth Planet Press. He can be found online at 
Amber takes a lot of photos. She is one of the photographers at Stopped Motion Photography in Kirkland, Washington and she specializes in fine art and live event photography including theater, dance, and musical performances. Amber has a deep love of playing with highlights and shadows in her photographic work and turning perception on its ear. Amber's work with the Edge of Propinquity has garnered her two awards so far, one in 2008 for the image "In, Through, Beyond" appearing the Kendrick series by Jennifer Brozek and another in 2009 for the piece "Her Return", created for James A. Sulivan's Santa Maria. When not at shoots, Amber spends her spare time belly dancing and studying and other styles of dance, writing software, playing games with her family and loved ones, and sleeping. No, scratch that last one, Amber doesn't have time for sleep. She lives in Kirkland with her partner and five children, three of which are cats. Amber has previously published work under the name Rory Clark.
Rick Silva grew up in Boston, Massachusetts, attended Cornell University, and currently teaches chemistry at a high school on Cape Cod, where he resides with his wife and two cats. He has been involved in small press publishing since his college days. As a co-founder of Pentegram Komix & Graphix, Rick published and edited Kinships magazine, a speculative fiction literary magazine that ran six issues under Rick’s editorship. Along with his wife Gynn, Rick is a partner in Dandelion Studios, a small press comic book company. Rick co-writes the Dandelion Studios comic Zephyr & Reginald: Minions for Hire, and he will also be writing scripts for several new Dandelion Studios projects scheduled for release in 2006. He writes a regular comic book review column for the comic fan site Comicwidows.com, and publishes his own zine, Caravan, on a somewhat irregular basis. Rick attends science fiction and gaming conventions around the northeastern states, and has been involved in the gaming scene for more than 20 years. Rick also writes and performs poetry. Prior to his recent move back to Massachusetts, Rick taught high school science in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he was a regular at several open mic events.
If there is a polar opposite of a lobotomized ferret, Ryan Macklin would be it. In addition to having a full-sized brain and a lack of fur, Ryan also shares other anti-ferret traits such as creating fiction and playing all sorts of games -- board games, card games, role-playing games. He also ekes out a living as a cog in the giant machine that is the State of California, which suits him just fine as a sleeper agent for The New Inquisition. Word on the street is that Ryan has "an affinity with dangerous silverware," has been published in 
She's a blogger, an advocate, an advice columnist, a businesswoman. She's a dreamer, a philosopher, an artist, a madwoman. She's an award-winning composer and performer, a lifelong poet, and, sooner than she can really quite believe, a published author. Often described as a vortex of the surreal, many of Seanan's personal anecdotes end with things like "and then we got the anti-venom" or "but it's okay, because it turned out the water wasn't all that deep." She has yet to be defeated in a game of "Who here was bitten by the strangest thing?," and can be amused for hours by just about anything. Just about anything includes swamps, long walks, long walks in swamps, most of the things that live in swamps, horror movies, strange noises, musical theater, reality television, comic books, finding pennies on the street, and venomous reptiles. Seanan may be the only person on the planet who admits to using Kenneth Muir's Horror Films of the 1980s as a checklist. 
Nick Bergeron was born and raised in the state of Maine, which may explain why he rides to work on mooseback. He usually parks his moose in a Microsoft parking lot during business hours while on a contract. He spends his freetime pretending to be someone he's not and rolling polyhedral dice, or singing his lungs out at the local karaoke joint. From time to time he can also be found attempting to "master the game", as the kids these days say.
Jim Sullivan has been spinning tales since his formative years, entertaining his family with tape-recorded stories and skits. As he matured, so did his medium - from school book fairs to essays to short stories. Then Jim discovered gaming. He did not settle long for the role of participant and soon was creating plots and his own worlds. Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) was his next step. He has co-run a four-year fantasy LARP and a five-year vampire LARP. When a player asked Jim why he did not write stories and pointed out the plots he created were stories, he was convinced and returned to writing short fiction. He is a student at the University of Washington studying psychology, choosing to leave behind such jobs as network engineer, operator, and fundraiser. Jim enjoys volunteering at sci-fi/fantasy conventions, role-playing, cooking, reading, movie viewing, and spending time with friends and family.
Jeremy is an amateur photographer residing in Sacramento, California. He normally takes pictures of cute little puppies and kittens. When he returned from the initial Hidden City shoot, however, he was a horribly changed man. He hasn't left his basement since. His preferred repast is Red Stripe and sharp cheddar, if you are feeling generous.
Sasha is a professional swashbuckler, a seeker of adventure, and also a photographer. Amongst his interests are gin, historical research, rum, recommending books, film history, rolling dice to tell stories, and debauchery. Sasha lives in Sacramento with a pink-haired wife and two cats. The cats favor Sasha's nudes over his urban scenes.
